YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

A friend sent me a sample sized version of this mascara and it has lasted me a little over a month so far! It's not that blackest or the thickest mascara I've ever seen, but it does a lot for length and isn't clumpy. My lashes are very fine and short so I like to have a lot of flexibility in them without flaking and clumping because I layer on coats. This mascara is great for layering, and will not flake or smear ALL day! The wand isn't anything special or out of the ordinary, but it works well at separating lashes. Totally irrelevant but it actually smells really good and floraly too! I'm used to drugstore mascaras that smells like old paint chips and permanent marker, lol. If it wasn't for the hefty price of $30 I would purchase a full size one but for now I'm still on the lookout for something better.

BareMinerals Pretty Amazing Lip Color- Confidence

I received the color Confidence which is described as a pink berry which I can agree with. At first glance I saw the pinky mauve tone in it and thought there was no possible way I could pull this off without looking really odd. While applying it I noticed the doe foot applicator is weak, flat, and too wide. I don't feel like I get enough control over application because of it being so flimsy. The lipgloss is very opaque, has a nice consistency, and is a LITTLE sticky but not too much to the point where it is unwearable. It doesn't melt off in high, humid temperatures and probably lasted about 6 hours on me before it was completely gone. This color actually didn't turn out to be as bad on me as I thought it would. It is a beautiful shade but I think I'll wait until I get a tan to wear it because I don't believe it is flattering on my extremely pale skin. Although the applicator was crappy, it can be forgiven because of how opaque and long lasting the lipgloss is. I will probably purchase more of these but in other shades!

Conair Facial Sauna System

This is my first electonic facial steaming sauna so sadly, I have nothing to compare it to besides a pot of boiled water with a towel covering the back of my head. Unfortunately, this sauna did not produce enough steam for my face amd didn't feel like it was enough to open the pores. The steam is very light, and it boils down too quickly. It claims to provide a "soothing mist" for up to 30 minutes, but mine only lasted 10. What the heck, Conair??? This product is made with your typical cheap plastic materials that Conair is basically known for. It looks very outdated, like something out of the 1980s. Instead of buttons and a digital timer, it has a cheap twisty knob for a timer. No me gusta! A reviewer on Amazon.com stated that the boiling water exploded on his wifes face leaving 1st degree burns, and Conair only gave a full refund. If only I would have read that before purchasing!! * WARNING * If that isn't enough to prove this sauna sucks, then you better prepare for some hefty medical bills.

This kit contains a nifty little nasal cone, and a little measuring cup to pour water into the saunas resevior which is very simple and convenient. The kit also comes with a battery operated exfoliating brush and sponge.--also cheaply made. I found many negative reviews on it so I didn't even bother trying it since the sauna didn't reach the expectations I had for it. I figured the cheap little brush wasn't worth the $27, regardless if it actually worked decently or not. On a more postive note, it certainly didn't burn a hole in my pocket. I was just hoping for better quality from a drugstore facial sauna kit in the $20 price range. This has been returned to Target, and I will NOT be repurchasing.
